Tabox v4.0.1 is out

It has been 2 months since the release of Tabox version 4.0 and your feedback has been amazing!

Thank you everyone who sent in their feedback - most good, some bad but this is how we make things better!

We listened to all your feedback, took note of what you liked and what you didn't like, went through all the bug reports and now we have a new version for you with exciting changes!

Version 4.0.1 will be rolling out over the next few days to all users.

Change List:

• Collection Detail Panel - Click any collection to open a new slide-over panel on the right side, giving you a focused view of all tabs, quick actions (open, duplicate, export, delete), inline name editing, and color picking without leaving your main view.

• Move Tabs Between Collections - You can now move individual tabs from one collection to another using the new "Move to collection" option on each tab row, making it easy to reorganize your saved tabs.

• Improved Search Results - Matching tabs now appear directly inline under each collection in search results, and you can click any matched tab to open it instantly. The "+N more" link expands to reveal all matches right in place instead of opening a separate view.

• Prominent "Open" Button - The button to open a collection's tabs is now a styled pill-shaped button with a gradient background, uppercase label, and hover animation, making it much easier to spot and click compared to the previous subtle icon.

• Background Import Processing - Importing collections (including full exports with folders) now runs in the background service worker, so imports complete reliably even if you close the popup mid-way.

• Smarter Google Drive Sync - Sync now respects your sort preferences when applying data from the server, and includes better conflict resolution and error handling for more reliable cloud backup.

• Orphan Collection Repair - Collections that lose their parent folder reference are now automatically detected and moved back to the root level instead of disappearing from view.

• Incognito Window Support - Collections saved from incognito windows are now properly tagged and restored with incognito awareness when reopened.

• Dark Mode Readability - Fixed text visibility issues in dark mode, including the "more matching tabs" link and various UI elements that were hard to read against dark backgrounds.

• Shared Collection Operations - Refactored duplicate logic for collection actions (open, delete, duplicate, export) into a shared hook, reducing code duplication across list, tile, and panel views.

• UI Polish - Increased padding on search result tab rows for better readability, improved toolbar and header styling, and fixed the settings button z-index so the detail panel properly covers it when open.
