    Unable to open Sync feature?

    Hi there Tabox! I am loving this program and it has been a lifesaver for someone who bounces around a lot of devices for work reasons.


    I have lately been getting an error where I am unable to open the sync window on one of my devices. I will try to reinstall etc, but was wondering if you might know what it could be?


    Sync feature has been working prior but stopped in the last two months, so I have been exporting out the sites.

    Hi, I'm having the same problem here.

    the Sync button doesn't really work, I've checked the devTool and there's no button at all.

    I also tried to use it on the private window, with only the Tabox but no other extensions, and it's still not working! so I don't think it's because of the confliction between extensions.

    please please help me out, I really like to use Tabox, I need to sync my google id so I can use it on my other computer!

    @Tabox HQ Hi, thanks for the quick reply! Well I tried that disable things but that didn't help, either.

    I don't think I've tried the re-installation. I'll do that and see if that works. Will reply again. Thank you!

    @Tabox HQ so I tried to re-install but that didn't work, however I think I found out what the problem is. I'm currently using the browser called 'naver whale', which is a chromium based browser, so it shares the chrome web extensions. I tested on the chrome browser and the login window popped up, so I guess this browser I'm using (whale) doesn't support the identity api scope approval ui..?

    @SweetPotato Ah yes, that might be it. Sorry we only support Chromium browsers that support the APIs we need, including identity, storage, tabs and tabGroups

    Solved, apparently the Bitwarden extension messes with OAuth windows. I disabled that temporarily and it all works again.

    I'm seeing the same thing here, but only in the Vivaldi Browser. Edge works just fine. I am bugging Vivaldi also :)

    Looks like a "turn-off and on again" approach was needed. It is working now but I will leave it up for others to see.
