For a few weeks, the groups were lost and all the tabs remained ungrouped (previously grouped into categories by groups). I have backups, but when I restore them, all the tabs are still ungrouped.
I have already tried reinstalling Chrome and Tabox extension and I still have the same result

Any tab with file:/// URL breaks Tabox Open collection function. It skips those file:/// tabs (or cannot open them if (Discard tabs on open(Enabled)) Often this leads to groups being wholly or partially absent from the collection. Generally http:// tabs will be present, but may be ungrouped. Behaviour is not consistent; seems to truncate processing of collection on opening, particularly groups.

For those who still have issues with tab groups or tabs not loading, please try to uncheck the option in the settings menu to "Discard tabs" when opening collections. This might solve some of the issues.
A new version (3.5.8) will be released soon with an overall of the tab loading and improver performance, that should also fix most issues reported in this thread.
I have now v3.5.7 and one of my groups also lost the groups or became ungrouped
I have version 3.5.7 and just started having this problem yesterday. Tabs inside some groups are also saved as empty... multiple of my collections are losing tab groups when restoring, not ideal with collections containing hundreds of tabs. It's unusable right now. Any idea?
I have version 3.5.6 and no problems on my end
When I started using Tabox, the group feature worked perfectly. Now when I create or update a collection, the groups are gone. Is this a 3.5.6 related bug?
I tried switching off/on the extension and deleting/reinstalling it. No joy.
On my end I have not seen it since I updated to v 3.5.5
I'm still seeing this issue. Has the update mentioned above on May 2 been published? Is it 3.5.5? If so, that doesn't appear to have resolved this issue for me. Thanks!

A fix for this issue has been submitted to the Chrome and Edge stores, once approved it will begin to roll out to all users.
There is no need to re-save collections or make any changes on your side, Tabox will resume operating as it did before the issue started.
